My name is Justin and I am a New York City Pigeon Forge? Musical Theater actor. I have been performing for over 20 years in some capacity or another. I recently achieved my Masters of FIne Arts in acting and I am glad to be finished with my program and in New York Pigeon Forge, TN.
May 4, 2009 UPDATE
So I was informed and old student film (The Quantum Effect) I did is being shown tomorrow for the first time. This is some scary stuff. My performance (without seeing it) can only be described as...
So I did a fairly high budget student film a few summers ago and it was at a time when I was getting over this tonal issue with my acting. Instead of everything being in my acting voice (BAD!!!) it all came out in a higher register (WORSE!!!) almost all my dialogue sounded foppish (dandyish, dandified, dapper, dressy; affected, preening, vain; effeminate, girly, mincing; informal natty, sissy, camp, campy). GOD BLESS ADR!!!

Jan 27, 2009 UPDATE
You may have guessed but I am no longer living in NYC. I have moved into the mountains...same work different demographic (AND HOW!!!) I am going to be in the production of The Miracle for the next year. It feels pretty good to land a solid contract. Especially before I get married to the woman of my dreams.
OLD STUFF BUT STILL COOL...
There is some new stuff on the site. I finally have the short film Order uploaded in the TV/Film section. Also I have recently been offered 2 roles, one in a European version of Phantom of the Opera and the other is Dave in The Full Monty. If you want to learn more about the process of working in NYC and auditioning check out my podcasts...there are only 3 right now but more are on the way.
Ah what to do with my podcast? I am not in NY and trying to break in...I guess it will have to be just about acting...
UPDATE:
I am in my second week of rehearsal for Phantom of the Opera and I am excited about the production. We leave for our European tour early November.
Due to poor timing I had to turn down the offer to play Dave in the Full Monty, however I look forward to another opportunity to work for La Comedia Dinner Theatre in Springboro, Ohio.
UPDATE: November 10, 2008
We finished our third week of rehearsals for Phantom of the Opera and then found out that the Prague leg of the tour had been cancelled. As of November 10, 2008 the rest of the tour will be continued. We now depart late November.
UPDATE: November 30, 2008 (From Estonia)
We finished our first country and may I say it was an interesting experience. The day before we opened we were told that the stage fly system had broke and we would probably have to do a concert version of the show. Then the evening before our opening night we were given a call time. On opening day we rehearsed twice then prepared for two runs. That is almost 4 three hour shows in one day. Needless to say our first performance was not superb, but wasn't shockingly bad either. Our second evening of performances were much better except for a man in the audience who was angry that our production was not the Webber version of the Musical. This man began to shout...”This is fraud...this is s**t...what do you think we are stupid this is not the Phantom of the Opera” I heard he said more but I was not privy to all of his statements. Now that is stunning enough but this next part blew me out of the water. One of our cast members (who shall remain nameless) at the end of a number began to yell at the heckler from the stage. Let me repeat that, one of our cast members yelled at an audience member from the stage in front of a 2000 member audience! I had mixed emotion about this...obviously shock, but also relief as the man was quiet after his public chiding. Then I began to think what if the “heckler” was mentally challenged or had turrets syndrome or something to that effect (you never know.) Anyway it was a most unique opening week. I can only hope that our next week will be uneventful. I shall keep you kids posted.
ENGAGED:
Something I neglected to add to my website was that I am now engaged to the most talented most beautiful and funny woman on the planet. I am not sure how I deserve her but I shall take her none the less. Karen, I love you sweetheart!!!
Welcome to my webpage
One of the many posters I have seen marketing our production of The Phantom of the Opera.
